We had an amazing stay at 8 Thoms Street Villa. The house was beautifully restored and equipped with top-notch amenities. It felt like a luxurious family home rather than a typical holiday rental. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center of town, making it easy to explore Kirkwall. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect level of firmness for a great night's sleep. And to top it off, we were welcomed with homemade biscuits that added a lovely personal touch to our stay. The brand new TVs in every room were also a nice bonus!
Everything was spot on! 😊

I recently stayed at 8 Thoms Street for a few days and had a fantastic time. The villa was spotlessly clean and had a great central location, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The spaciousness of the villa and the beautiful garden were added bonuses. I particularly loved the comfortable bed and the homemade biscuits in the welcome pack. The owner's attention to detail and the brand new TVs in every room were also impressive.
Can definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a lovely place with garden views and free WiFi. Only 3 km from Scapa Beach, perfect for my sunbathing sessions. Towels were offered, and who doesn't love complimentary towels?
City views were nice, but I really missed the breathtaking sight of a concrete jungle outside my window.

We had a fantastic stay at this centrally located accommodation, just a stone's throw away from the stunning St Magnus Cathedral. The spacious and well-equipped rooms offered a comfortable home away from home. The friendly and attentive host ensured our needs were met, even allowing us a late check-out. The clean and tidy property provided all the amenities we needed, and the welcoming local goodies were a lovely touch.
One small downside was the lack of internet access, which we felt would have been a useful addition for both adults and children.

The room at 8 Thoms Street was cozy and had a nice homey feel to it. I loved the bathroom with its shower and hairdryer, making it easy for me to freshen up after a long day of biking around Kirkwall. It was just what I needed!
For some reason, I wasn't a big fan of the color scheme in the room. But hey, that's just me, everyone has their own taste!
